TRADER + TEACHER is an extension of a Trader account for those who have a wealth of knowledge about how they grow or make their products through local in person classes.


TRADER + TEACHER + HOST is a great option for Traders who may not necessarily want or have time to teach but have extra garden, greenhouse, or barn space where they could host a class or a even a fellow grower.


BUSINESS is the number one choice for anyone who owns a business that primarily offers locally homegrown and homemade products and services or offers products and services that support local growers and homesteaders.


BUSINESS + TEACHER further extends the business account for owners who would like to teach their skills or educate customers on how to best utilize their products or services.


BUSINESS + TEACHER + HOST is the best chance for business owners to not only list their products and services but post spaces for locals to use or events for locals to attend.


NON - PROFIT offers an opportunity for those who offer products and services that offer aid to those who need Physical, Mental, and Spiritual support to post their offerings for all to see. NON - PROFIT + TEACHER + HOST takes it one step further for Non-Profits to list spaces that are available for use and events that are available for all to attend. 




Everyone! But if you want to be more specific...Homesteaders, Naturalists, Conservationists, Farmers, Stockmen, Gardeners, Food Preservers, Survivalists, Preppers, Apothecaries, Health-minded Patrons, or anyone who wants to learn more about these topics of interest.


It encourages a way to live life together with your neighbors. Inspiring Faith, Family, and Community while rebuilding independence from "shipped-in" necessities.


If your products are grown locally or are made in house from other products that are grown locally and fit into the following categories then yes your products will be a great addition to the Feed the Flock App!  

  • Livestock: Cattle, Goats, Pigs, Rabbits, Chickens, Ducks, Turkey, and Quail
  • Fruits, Vegetables & Herbs: Anything edible that can be grown in your area.
  • Meats: Naturally raised beef, poultry, pork, rabbit meat, and locally caught seafood.
  • Dairy Products: Farmstead cow and goat milk, cheeses, yogurt, etc...
  • Pantry Goods: Grains & Pastas, Flour, Canned & Jarred Goods, Oils & Vinegars, Spices, Herbs & Seasonings, Baking Staples, Condiments & Sauces, Nuts, Seeds.
  • Apothecary: Dried Herbs, Oils & Butters, Tinctures & Extracts, Essential Oils, Witch Hazel & Clays. 
  • Toiletries:  Natural toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, body wash, face wash, deodorant, moisturizer/lotion, and sunscreen.



If your services offer practical support for growing food, raising livestock, and building community sustainability and fit into the following categories then yes your services will be a great addition to the Feed the Flock App!  

  • Consulting: Offering one-on-one troubleshooting and mentorship to help new homesteaders get started, design permaculture zones, testing soil and evaluating the possibilities for each unique homesteader or gardener.
  • Installations or Repairs:  Using versatile carpentry skills for building or repairing wire or wood fencing, animal housing, raised beds, greenhouses, or sheds.
  • Farm Sitting: Offering specialized daily check-ins to feed, water, and milk animals 
  • Planting & Harvesting: Tillage & Soil Prep, Seeding & Planting, Crop Maintenance, Nutrient Application, Crop Protection, and Harvesting
  • Butchering & Processing:  Skilled and humane butchering for livestock
  • Tractor & Grading:  bush hogging, tilling garden plots, grading, or spreading mulch. 



  

If you offer Classes that cover foundational, hands-on skills, that help individuals become more self-sufficient, promote working together for community sustainability, acknowledge the importance of Biblical Principles, empower local residents to develop resilient local resources and an eco-friendly infrastructure, or fit into the following categories, then your classes will be great for the Feed the Flock App! 

  • Food Preservation: Canning, drying & dehydrating.
  • Livestock Management: Coop & hutch design, predator-proofing, daily care, animal health and basic husbandry.
  • Meat & Dairy Processing: Humane butchering & safe meat processing, cultured milk, soft cheeses, and butter. 
  • Land & Garden Stewardship: Seed starting, composting, & harvesting, fruit tree pruning & grafting, year-round growing using cold frames, hoop houses, or greenhouses.
  • Scratch Cooking & Fermentation: All natural recipes, sourdough baking, fermenting, and Biblical based diets.
  • Hygiene & Personal Care: Crafting natural toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, cleaners and holistic remedies.
  • Biblical Principles: Creation care & stewardship, rest & renewal, resource management, protection for future generations, justice and compassion, sustainability of God.
  • Community Sustainability: Environmental science, sustainable agriculture, community-driven business, urban homesteading, natural resource conservation, practical real-world issue resolution. 


Spaces that offer the opportunity for people to gather and grow together are great. If you have a garden plot, an acre, a barn, greenhouse, kitchen, or classroom list it on the app and make some connections. 


Any events that connect people for introduction, education, or trading works for Feed the Flock. The goal is to connect, educate, and grow stronger communities while focusing on physical and spiritual sustainability. Events that promote such are welcome.
